The standard FIFA licensing pathway requires passing the exam, meeting eligibility criteria and paying the annual fee. There is no general degree, seniority or sponsorship requirement.

1. Apply during the registration window

Start on the FIFA Agent Platform: create an account, complete the application and pay the exam fee. Applications are accepted only during announced periods. Missing the deadline means waiting for a later edition.

2. Meet eligibility criteria

Article 5 criteria concern your circumstances rather than education: specified convictions, incompatible conflicts and roles in clubs or associations. FIFA's general secretariat checks eligibility.

There is no degree requirement. Integrity requirements are checked.

3. Pass the exam

Twenty multiple-choice questions, sixty minutes and a 75% pass mark. The exam is online, remotely proctored and open book, allowing consultation of FIFA study materials.

Open book does not mean easy. With over a thousand pages and three minutes per question, you must already know where information is located. This is a focus of our free course.

4. Obtain and maintain the licence

Passing alone does not award a licence. Pay the annual fee and sign the Code of Conduct. Continuing education and ongoing eligibility compliance remain necessary.

What about dates?

FIFA announces application and exam dates by circular and on its Agent Platform. We relay that information; FIFA is the source.
