One question keeps appearing in our inbox: when will the next FIFA football agent exam take place? At the time of the original article, FIFA had not yet announced it.
What is established
The described format is twenty multiple-choice questions in sixty minutes, with a 75% pass mark. It is an online, remotely proctored, open-book exam. Each question contributes 5% of the score, with no partial credit.
The study materials also follow a consistent structure: a chapter on regulations and reference documents, followed by supplementary resources including circulars. French is one of the exam languages.
The timetable changes each year, while much of the programme remains familiar. This makes early preparation useful.
What remains to be confirmed
- The application window.
- The number of sessions and exam dates.
- The exam fee for the relevant edition.
- The authoritative edition of the study materials and updated texts included in it.
These details are announced by circular to member associations and published on the Agent Platform and FIFA.com. This website relays those official announcements.
What to do while waiting
Waiting for the announcement before studying can be costly. The period between registration and the exam is short and insufficient to absorb more than a thousand pages. Successful candidates often cover the programme once before registration opens.
The full course will launch in French and English from 1 November 2026, with eleven audio and video modules. This page will be updated when FIFA publishes the official timetable.
